Friends and Donors of the Cultural Center, welcome
to an exciting season. I believe that our offerings this
year bring an outstanding opportunity for all of us
to experience the fun, socializing, and enrichment of
the performing arts. You can look forward to our live
concert series, Food & Film, lectures by accomplished
speakers as well as mingling with authors during our
Dining with the Presidents offerings.
We will be continuing with our very popular outdoor
concerts, featuring Old Dominion, Pat Benatar, Cheap
Trick and KC and the Sunshine Band, so pick your
favorites and join us in the Mosh pit. Our experiment
last year with a comedian was a fan favorite, so we have
Bill Engvall joining us. The Chamber Music, Cabaret and
our indoor concerts will prove to be enticing options
as well. Our Campus Committee brings a lineup of
speakers from the Geopolitical to Artificial Intelligence
to Technology and Energy. This will be our third year of
live streaming the Richmond Forum of speakers.
There were some significant challenges and changes
to your Cultural Center. The costs of the artists that
we bring to the stage have continued to increase
dramatically. The only way we can provide the quality of
artists that we do is through the support of our donors,
our Producers and Sponsors. Thank you! Without your
support, our lineup would look very different. The
other major change is the retirement of our long time
President, John Hunt. John has been with the Cultural
Center from the very beginning and we all owe him our
thanks and gratitude. Additionally, please welcome
Kyle Landers as he steps in to fill John’s very large
shoes and puts his stamp on our future.
Finally, I would personally like to thank our Board, our
committees, all of the volunteers, and our staff who
make this all possible. Thank you, and I look forward to
seeing you in 2026.
