in a new Met production by Charles Edwards,
making his directorial debut. Conducted
by Marco Armiliato, the production stars
Lisette Oropesa and Lawrence Brownlee
as Elvira and Arturo, caught in love amid
the English Civil War, with Artur Ruciński as
Riccardo and Christian Van Horn as Elvira’s
sympathetic uncle, Giorgio.
