The Film Society is proud to present its
thirteenth season at the Cultural Center as
part of the Campus Program. Beginning
with a group of movie buffs in 2013, the
membership has grown to over 300
members. Over 65 films have been shown
along with an accompanying dinner.
The schedule of Film Society evenings
will continue the popular tradition of
celebrating the art of film and cuisine
along with the opportunity to learn and
socialize with other film enthusiasts.
We are pleased to welcome back
professors from the University of Miami
School of Communication and other
film specialists to share their insightful
knowledge with a presentation before
each film.
All five Monday evening films are followed
by a special (by reservation only) dinner
inspired by the film. Ocean Reef Club’s
outstanding Culinary Department will
again prepare a memorable menu that
will be related to the film theme for each
dining experience with a choice of wines
from Port O’ Call to accompany each
dinner.

This drama/romantic comedy focuses on the relationship of three
women that come together to open a bakery in London to honor
someone they all dearly loved. It is a heartwarming story of grief
and inspiration, well acted and uplifting. The scrumptious cakes
and pastries featured in the film are a tantalizing assortment that will
appeal to anyone that loves desserts.
